REGIONE LOMBARDIA

Lombardy Region has a political role in social housing at regional level and through its regional agencies (ALERS) manages more than 170.000 apartments. Another task is to ensure energy efficiency in its buildings and apartments through maintenance and energy policies.
Lombardy Region experience in EU projects is really broad if we consider that the regional administration is Managing Authority of ERDF and ESF Regional Operational Programme and also in the cross border Programme Interreg IT-CH. The General Direction Social Housing started its path in EU projects recently, working as partner in “PROBIS”, a Competitiveness and Innovation framework Programme project, “THE4BEES” an Alpine Space 2014-2020 project, and “S3CHEM” an Interreg Europe project.
Lombardy Region, as a public administration interested in the adoption of BIM for construction and renovation processes and in the management of public housing assets, will contribute to the development of BIM4EEB toolset, participating to the definition of requirements, assessment and validation of the toolset in the demonstration activities and contributing to the dissemination of project results with guidelines for public administration and workshops.
