BIM4EEBBIMMS is an open and interoperable data management platform that enables information to be gathered from different sources in an internet-based environment throughout the building's life cycle
The platform works as a single source of information for the renovation project and provides a common environment for all the BIM4EEB tools developed by the project.
Architects, engineers, construction companies, technicians, owners and end users are able to work in a collaborative across all the stages in a building renovation project. Overall, the platform’s main functionalities are a Common Data Environment (CDE) able to store and share data between users, a 3D IFC BIM Model and data visualisation viewer and a set of six BIM4EEB tools: BIM4EEB fast mapping toolkit, BIM4EEB BIMeaser, BIM4Occupants, BIM4EEB Auteras, BIM4EEB BIMcpd and, BIM4EEB BIMplanner.
Using different user profiles, the platform allows for instance inhabitants to check data about their apartment, designers to plan interventions using IFC models, construction companies to schedule their activities.
